Canadian Franchise Association National Convention

The 2020 Canadian Franchise Association National Convention will take place near our Montreal offices. Nethris will of course take part in this event! Our team will be present with a kiosk to pass on our know-how in human capital management to entrepreneurs and offer concrete solutions to the challenges they face on a daily basis. The agenda of the convention includes expert conferences, round-table discussions, networking activities and a great closing celebration.

Nethris has been a member of the Canadian Franchise Association since 2010. We believe in the mission of this organization, which is to protect the interests of franchisors and franchisees and to contribute to the growth of the industry. The group also broadcasts a podcast for business owners, on which we can listen to researchers, analysts and entrepreneurs share their vision of the Canadian market.

The Canadian economy largely depend on franchises. Throughout the country, there are 1,300 commercial banners and 76,000 franchisors, most of them SMEs working in the retail industry, the food industry, lodging and housing, and health services. They account for 20% of all consumer expenditures and contribute 96 billions of dollars to the Canadian gross national product.

HR TECH Montreal

The HR TECH Montreal reunites market leaders working in the field of payroll and human resources management technologies. Nethris was an exhibitor at the first edition of the event last year and will once again participate in May 2020. Our objective is to share our IT and Human Capital Management expertise by sharing it with the entrepreneurs, managers and recruiters who will be present at the Montreal Convention Centre. We are believe that our cloud computing functionalities simplify their work and we invite the attendees to attend at the free demonstrations we will provide at our booth.

We would also like to grow our collaboration with partners in the industry. By sharing our expertise or developing new partnerships, we feel that we can better support businesses with the management of their employees.

In 2019, close to 100 exhibitors and speakers participated in the event and this new edition will probably be even more impressive.

The Canadian Payroll Association Annual Conference and Trade Show

In June 2020, the Canadian Payroll Association 38th Annual Conference and Trade Show will take place in Whistler, British Columbia, at the foothill of the Canadian Rockies. The program includes 50 training sessions, inspiring speeches, networking lunches and an exhibition hall where Nethris will have an advisory booth. As a leader in payroll management, we could not miss this event, recognized as the largest one fully dedicated to our field of expertise.

Paymasters, accountants, bookkeepers and business executives gather together to optimize their payroll management, but also to be entertained by the surprise guests booked by the CPA. This year, comedian and acrobat Jeff Civillico and the acclaimed geneticist and environmental activist David Suzuki are expected to perform.

Better Business Expo

The Better Business Expo brings together the most important business solution and service providers in Canada, so it is not surprising that Nethris will be participating in the next edition, which will take place in Ajax! Our payroll and employee management technologies are among the most efficient in the country. Our experts will have a booth to network with entrepreneurs. At Nethris, we believe that there is nothing better than a face-to-face meeting to identify the right tools and advice best suited to their specific needs.

HRPA Annual Conference and Trade Show

Each year, the Human Resources Professionals Association holds a tradeshow where nearly 5,000 specialists attend to grow their networks, share strategies, discover new management tools and strengthen their knowledge through various conferences. In 2020, Nethris will be among the 230 exhibitors sharing their products and expertise. Our solutions are specifically designed to optimize the productivity of human resource managers, helping them to manage payroll, employee profiles, training activities, salary scales, occupational injuries, performance evaluations (and much more!) online in one simple and easy-to-use environment.

IPBC IGNITE

Payroll is complex, even for accounting professionals. At Nethris, one of our missions is to help accountants and bookkeepers stay on top of the latest legislative changes and best practices related to payroll processing. That is why we are participating in IPBC IGNITE, an event that brings together Canadians who are passionate about numbers. Organized by the Institute of Professional of Canada, the event will offer multiple conferences and an exhibition. We will have a booth for networking, offering advice, and presenting our payroll services and our General Ledger Interface solution, which automates accounting entries related to payroll.

Strategies PME

If we were asked to identify our company’s biggest goal, without hesitating, we would say that it is to “contribute to the growth of Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises.” To achieve this objective, we often meet with entrepreneurs across the country to support them by sharing advice and knowledge about payroll and employee management. Strategies PME is an essential event not to miss, with 6,000 leaders attending.

Some Nethris team members will be taking part in this trade show that brings together 450 experts. They will answer questions from business leaders and present our all-in-one solutions to simplify payroll management, human resources, and group benefits. Nethris will also hold a conference to present essential digital tools for employee retention. Furthermore, we are sponsoring the event!
